Certainly, visitors the image of the future Russian aircraft carrier more interested. Unfortunately, at the stand to receive answers to interesting questions it was uneasy. «Sevmash» heads were not at the stand, there were beautiful girls, and what them to ask?

 

And, consequently, after press conference at once has started to search for a meeting with admiral Mikhail Zakharenko the assistant to the main commander of the Navy of Russia. At last, it was possible.

 

 

- Тоvarish admiral, on «Sevmash» the stand flaunts figure of a unknown aircraft carrier. It is similar on French «Charles де Gaulle». Read, that our future aircraft carrier will be nuclear, and displacement will not exceed 50 thousand tons. Whether so it?

 

- Yes, you have absolutely precisely noticed analogy with «Charles де Gaulle». It is a nuclear aircraft carrier it will be valid. Its displacement if not 50 precisely will not exceed 60 thousand tons.

 

- How you consider, how many should be such aircraft carriers in the Russian Navy?

Thus, Russia will construct two nuclear aircraft carriers: one will be based on Northern, another on Pacific fleet. Development СVN is assigned on Neva PKB (St.-Petersburg), construction will be conducted on «Sevmash» a new building berth (Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region). The first ship will enter in servis, by some estimations, in 2015-2020. By the fighting opportunities they will be a little below, than American giants displacement 100 thousand т, but will be up to standard of perspective aircraft carriers of the Great Britain and France. By then, possibly, one nuclear, the second usual aircraft carriers will appear at China. India will maintain «Vikramaditya» and will construct one more easy aircraft carrier.

 

If these plans will be realized, Russia will remain one of leading ocean powers and to be ashamed for our fleet it is not necessary.
